Job Description

The Van Sales Representative will be responsible for selling and delivering products to retail outlets, supermarkets, and other sales points within Port Harcourt. The role requires strong customer engagement, accurate record-keeping, and consistent achievement of sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Drive the company sales van within the assigned territory

• Sell and distribute products to retail outlets and supermarkets

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships

• Achieve daily and monthly sales targets

• Monitor van stock levels and maintain optimal product mix

• Collect payments and issue receipts accurately

• Keep accurate sales, delivery, and customer feedback records

• Ensure proper product merchandising at customer locations

• Submit daily sales and market feedback reports to the sales supervisor

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or OND qualification

• 2–5 years experience in FMCG or route-to-market sales is preferred

• Valid driver’s license and required driving documents

• Strong knowledge of Port Harcourt road network

• Good communication, negotiation, and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and under pressure

• Honest, reliable, and target-oriented
